Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, Tiqui Atencio Demirdjian was always passionate about art. She studied Art in Caracas, New York, Rome and Paris.

In 2016, she published a book titled “Could Have, Would Have, Should Have : Inside the world of the Art Collector”; in which she interviewed more than a hundred collectors to get a private view of their history.

Now has published her second book, “For Art’s sake: Inside the Homes of Art Dealers”; which gives us a privileged inside the elite homes of the Art world.

Tiqui Atencio Demirdjian is an Ex-Officio Trustee of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation and Chair of its International Director’s Council. She is Founder  of the Tate’s Latin American Acquisition Committee, as well as Ex-Officio Trustee of the Tate America’s Foundation and member of its International Council.

Tiqui Atencio Demirdjian is a member of the Associations of Friends of "Le Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris" and "Le Nouveau Musée National de Monaco".
